The Horror Score - MaxMSP
Sound Design in Max/MSP/Jitter
The Horror Score is a demonstration of live input sound processing using Max/MSP/Jitter. The piece was performed using contact microphones which collected vibration frequency data and sent it into Max and which were placed on the inside of a uniquely constructed box designed to exhibit a variety of sound qualities. Parameters for the live input processing through Max were controlled via MIDI controller in order to give versatility and instrumentality to the performance.
Sound Design and Performance by Alec Lloyd & Christian Pelagio. Filmed by Seth Thorne.
